I Came, I Saw, I VOTED!

Yesterday on the 7th day of November 2006, it was time for the citizens of the United States to vote for their new governors, congress representatives, and other persons of authority that represent us. Now me personally I'm not very political at all. I basically just go along with what everyone else is saying honestly. I guess because even though I know who represents us affects how we live, I really do not feel like there have been any huge impacts on how I live personally based on who I am represented by.

But that's just my own ignorance. I know I need to get more political and I plan to soon. The thing is, it is very important for every U.S. citizen who can vote, to do so because in voting there is power. With that power we as a people can prevent the wrong representatives from getting into power who do not know what they are doing and make sure the ones who do know what they are doing get put into power.

So that's my opinion. For more information on the election, check out CNNCNN

I linked to the blog called The Rooftop Blog because I was told to.

What happened?

These days I'm constantly wondering my next move. Whether it be in work, school, relationships...maybe even if I wanna go to class today. It just feels like I've gotten off track but I'm determined to get back. I live with my family in Powder Springs, GA. and it disgusts me. Not because I don't like my family. I love them all dearly and always enjoy their company. But in my mind I can't help but think, "I'm 21 and I still live at home!" Yes many people think this is normal but not me. I should be out on my own doing my own thing. I should have my own car, my own apartment, and should be preparing for my college graduation in the spring. Instead, I'm living at home, I'm in school (part time) and will be graduating about a year and a half late because I've gotten so much off track, I work for a sheet metal company full time with my dad, and I just wrecked my only means of transportation. I'm the type of guy that always likes to look on the bright side, but right now I'm just trying to find the side that's going to help me get my life back.
